Our History

1993

1993

Established Middle East Ship Stores as sole establishment which offers ship supply services calling at UAE ports.

1998

Started working relationship with Fuji Trading Co., Ltd. Japan.

First Marine Supplier in Dubai to acquire ISO 9001 Certification, Quality Management System

1999

Formed an independent Engineering Department to provide specialized engineering services.

2000

Official joint venture with Fuji Trading Co., Ltd. Japan. Company name was then changed from Middle East Ship Stores to Middle East Fuji LLC.

On the same year, the following companies were also established:

Middle East Fuji International Trading LLC in Dubai, UAE as general trading company
Middle East Fuji LLC – Fujairah branch
Middle East Fuji LLC – Sharjah branch

2004

First company in Middle East to introduce prime Sake and Soju from Japan

2008

Registered and established Middle East Fuji Khimji’s Co. LLC in Muscat, Oman. A joint venture company between Khimji Ramdas Group (Oman) and Middle East Fuji LLC (UAE), which offers marine offshore and hostility industries in the Sultanate of Oman.”.

2010

The independent engineering department which was formed in 1999 was finally registered as a separate company in Dubai, UAE, called Fuji Walco Middle East LLC with a partner. On the same year, Middle East Fuji Khimji Shipping LLC was also established in Fujairah, UAE which offers marine agency and husbandry.

2011

Registered and established Middle East Fuji International General Trading LLC in Abu Dhabi, UAE, as spare parts and equipment trading.

2012

Middle East Fuji LLC acquired 100% shares of Fuji Walco Middle East LLC, and renamed the established company to Middle East Fuji Engineering LLC.

On the same year, the following companies were also established:

Middle East Fuji LLC – Qatar as 100% subsidiary
Middle East Fuji LLC – Abu Dhabi branch
Middle East Fuji Engineering LLC – Fujairah branch
Middle East Fuji Khimji Shipping LLC – Ras Al Khaimah branch

First Marine Supplier to acquire five (5) ISO certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, HACCP

2015

Middle East Fuji LLC bought 4,180.64 square meters Warehouse building in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, behind Audi Showroom near Time Square.

On the same year, Middle East Fuji LLC took over and started its catering and facility management operations in Africa for Djibouti Anti-Piracy Enforcement (DAPE) Camp of Japanese Maritime Self Defense Navy Force.

2016

Officially registered Middle East Fuji Maintenance and Technical Services company which offers one-stop shop solutions for property repairs and maintenance.

On the same year, Middle East Fuji Khimji Shipping LLC – Sharjah branch was also established.

First company to introduce HALAL Kobe Beef in the Middle East region

2017

Middle East Fuji LLC bought and acquired full ownership of the land from Dubai Government for its Head Office (Plot No. 368-191) and New Warehouse (Plot No. 368-187).

On the same year, a business relationship was acted between Broadworld Trading LLC and Middle East Fuji LLC, appointing the latter as its distributor for SNAP perfumes in the local and international market.

Middle East Fuji LLC has been growing in our industry for past 3 decades. Since the time we established ourselves, we have cultivated good relationships with our partners and other stakeholders in our business.

MEF’s strengths lie in our genuine partnerships based on trust and professionalism. For all that comprises MEF, Marine Supplies, Engineering, Hotel Supplies and Industrial Solutions, – I would like to thank you all – our principals, customers, agents and distributors, our staff, other stakeholders and all our partners in the industry – for the continued support and understanding.

To conclude, I would like to emphasize that our concern for customer satisfaction, quality of service, high standards for health and safety and preserving our environment remains our key focus; and achieving our goals is our passion.

Quality

Middle East Fuji Group is dedicated to the quality policy that will ensure that its products and services fully meet the requirements of its customers at all times. The goal of the company is to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction at all times. Commitment of the implementation of supporting managerial and business operational systems is essential in realizing this goal.

Middle East Fuji believes in the concept of customer and supplier working together in pursuing this policy and in continually striving for improvements in service quality.

The quality policy is based on 3 fundamental principles:

Ensuring that we fully identify and conform to the needs of our customers.
Looking at our service delivery processes, identifying the potential for errors and taking the necessary to eliminate them.
Everyone understands how to do their job and doing it right for the first time.

To ensure that the policy is successfully implemented, staff will be responsible for identifying customer requirements, and ensuring that the correct procedures are followed to meet those requirements.

Objectives needed to ensure that the requirements of this policy are met and that continual improvement is maintained in line with the spirit of the policy, will be set, determined and monitored in Management Review.

The quality policy and objectives will be communicated and available to staff at all times. Training will be an integral part of the strategy to achieve the objectives.

We are committed to operating our company to meet the needs and expectations of all our stakeholders and the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 as well as all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements

Our company will constantly review and strive to continually improve our management system including our service offerings in the most cost and time effective manner for the benefit of our customers and other relevant stakeholders.

We shall ensure that all our personnel understand and full implement our Company’s policies and objectives and are able to perform their duties effectively through an ongoing training and developing program.

Health and Safety

Middle East Fuji Group is committed to promote and maintain high safety and health standards for our employees, our customers and public at large, while executing our warehouse and logistic operations. Our expectation is that no one gets hurt and nothing gets harmed. The Company provides the processes, facilities, standards, training, discipline and work culture designed to ensure:

We will be the best Marine Service Provider in UAE with regard to HSE;
A safe work environment for our employees and the communities in which we operate;
This goal also embraces contractors, suppliers, employees and all other users of our; premises and to provide safe products for our customers;
Environmental protection through responsible resource and waste management;
Prevention of ill health and injuries;
Protection of stakeholder assets and;
HSE will be fixed item on the agenda at board meetings.

MEF Group is committed to implement all safety requirements related to maritime treaties including those mentioned in ISPS codes and all the applicable local regulations. MEF Group also ensures high standard of Safety in its work places and warehouses. MEF Group is committed not to forgo safety requirements for financial gains.

Middle East Fuji Group; promote the concept of sustainable development, uniting protection of the natural and human environment with economic well-being. The Company integrates environmental considerations into its operations of warehousing and logistics, asset management and business decision.

reduce the quantity and toxicity of materials used and waste generated from its operations / facilities through correct selection, efficient use, reuse and recycling;

Food Safety

We, at Middle East Fuji LLC are committed to maintain product quality and hygiene as per ISO 22000 and HACCP requirements, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and food safety requirements of our customers. In our endeavor to supply goods and material to ships, land based hotels, other companies and organizations, we strive to comply and exceed our customers’ expectations, at the right time, and every time by actively involving everybody in the organization through stringent monitoring of process parameters and related hygienic factors at every stage.

We are also committed for reviewing and updating of all processes to take care of technological improvements and changing needs of business, through continual improvement at all fronts.
