MEF Group of Companies arrange a Vaccination Drive for all MEF Employees. The Management coordinated with Al Tadway Center to arrange a Vaccination Drive which was held on the 9th of March 2021.
A nurse from Al Tadway Center came to our Head Office to administer the 1st dose of Sinopharm Vaccine. We assisted her in getting staff blood pressure and other health requirements to ensure that there won’t be any problem while getting vaccinated and to make sure everyone is informed with the after effects of the vaccine. Staff in Logistics, Operations, Warehouses and KOBEYa have been prioritize to get the vaccine first because they are more expose and have a higher risk of being infected. The first dose of Sino pharm Vaccine has been administered to our 90 staff.
Other staff also brought their families and friends for the vaccination and we tried to accommodate them as much as possible. Some of the staff was not able to take the vaccine as they got infected by the Covid-19 before and as per the guidelines for the DHA and UAE government if someone got positive he can take the vaccine after 90 days form the last day he got negative. The remaining staff who wasn’t able to get the vaccine were administered by the Government Vaccination Drive which was held in World Trade Center and are also being monitored.
The 2nd dose of Sino pharm Vaccine was administered by a Nurse of the same center on the 30th of March 2021 (after 21 days from the first dose). Those who have already completed the vaccine dose successfully will be able to receive a certificate issued by the government and Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
